Here is what you can expect from a Quick Start
Homebuyer Event:
- It's a free event sponsored by Los Angeles Partners in Homeownership, an all-volunteer nonprofit organization that works to expand homeownership opportunities for low- and moderate-income individuals and families in Southern California.
- The Quick Start event is delivered in live webinar format so you can participate from the comfort of your own home.
- Quick Start is offered twice each month on a Wednesday evening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and again on a Saturday morning from 8 a.m.to 10 a.m.
- Quick Start is a two-hour event that is action-packed and fast moving with lots of great information, resources, and motivation to get started on the path to homeownership now.
- All participants will receive a certificate of completion from Los Angeles Partners in Homeownership. And if needed we provide additional help obtaining certification from a HUD-approved housing counseling agency which is often required by the government down payment assistance programs you'll learn about in Quick Start.
- All Quick Start graduates will have the option to participate in a free one-on-one coaching session with an Los Angeles Partners team member after the event. During this coaching session we'll help you create a customized homebuying action plan.
